Meet Mr. Daniel Gavin

A Brooklyn born native, Mr. Gavin pursued his educational ambitions at Pace University in New York. Wanting to work hands on with the members of his community, Mr. Gavin continued his studies and was granted New York State and Connecticut State licenses in hearing aid dispensing.

In the late 1970’s, Mr. Gavin began a first of its kind hearing aid dispensing office at Dyna-Tone Corporation in Ossining, New York. With his business expertise and caring attention to the needs of his clients, Mr. Gavin wanted to reach an even larger population and collaborated with his wife, Dr. Sharon K. Gavin, and together they co-founded Tarrytown Hearing Center in Tarrytown, New York. Mr. Gavin currently serves the needs of his clients in Tarrytown and additional offices in Cortlandt Manor, New York and Greenwich, Connecticut. He is known for his calm and caring demeanor and an unrelenting attitude that he will work until his client is satisfied.

Reflecting on a fulfilling career that has been spent helping people hear their world, Mr. Gavin reports that he has never considered what he does to be work. It is never work when you love what you do!
